Classes 5th to 8th grade
Classes meet at Bead Works on Mondays from 5:15-7:15pm, March 12- April 30. There will be no class on April 9th. Week 1: Polymer beads Students will design and manufacture intricate bead and pendants using polymer clay. Week 2: Bead People and Shrink Plastic Charms Students will design and create whimsical bead people to be used as a pendant, brooch or key chain. Students will also make charms using shrink plastic. Week 3: Basic Bead Stringing Students will learn the art of professional finishing using tiger tail and crimps. We will utilize the polymer beads and charms as well as other beads to complete bracelets or necklaces. Week 4: Wire and Bead Ring Students will make a dramatic bead and wire ring using half soft wire. Week 5: Chain Leather Wrap Bracelet Students will adore this fun wrap bracelet. This trendy bracelet can be wild or sophisticated. Week 6: Spool Bead Knitting Students will learn this versatile technique of knitting with beads. Week 7 Undetermined Project Final project options will be discussed and decided on together by class. Registration and material fees for each class: $175 per person. Fees include registration, instruction, materials and use of all tools. There are no make up classes; all fees are non-refundable. Regular store hours are Monday 12 to 5 and
